….V for Victory.
After wasting money watching one of the worst movies in the history of movie making, 10,000 BC, thank goodness the night was redeemed watching #12 seed Villanova pull off a huge upset taking down #5 seed Clemson. It didn’t start out too well when Villanova fell behind by 18 points in the first half and I was ready to call it a night, but they stayed resilient and closed the gap before halftime. Then they just came out on fire in the second half and took the lead before then minutes had gone by in the second half. I almost had to call for Jay Wright to be fired after he had a technical foul called on him with three minutes left and Villanova only up by four points and nearly cost Villanova the game, but thankfully the Villanova made their free throws down the stretch to pull away. Next up, #13 Siena College.
And since I am at it, let’s recap the standings of The Hedgehog Report NCAA Basketball Challenge.
The Hedgehog Report NCAA Basketball Challenge
1. Me - 250 points
2. Everyone Else - Less than 250 points
Congratulations to me for leading after Round One.
By the way, if you really want to watch “10,000 BC”, may I suggest you watch “300″ instead. They basically have the same plot line, but 300 is a much better version of that plot line….
