C - Really possibly the best place to just chill out. Sun, sand, minimal surf (Grant said is like being in a tepid 6 foot deep bath). We got a great room this time, large and comfy, however the hammocks are not quite as good. I have now totally embraced the concept of doing nothing and not feeling guilty about it. My days consist of decisions as pressing as what to have for dinner and whether to have my massage in the morning or the afternoon. Also, does splashing about in the ocean for 20 minutes constitute enough exercise for the day?
The massage girls decided to take matters into their own hands vis-à-vis my wardrobe, so they picked me up a little something at the market. The results of their foray into style management can be seen in the accompanying photos - a little ensemble I like to call the Vietnamese Sausage. All I can say is, don’t give up your day job. They seem most disappointed that I’m not sporting the look constantly. I tried to tell them it was a little bit tight but they disagreed·
Grant is going to do a dive course before we head back to Saigon. He has also been learning the fine art of pineapple cutting, with much help and advice from back-seat pineapple cutters. His initial attempts were a bit hit and miss (though delicious) but he has now mastered the perfect cut pineapple.
