Cellphone and other RF jammers are illegal to use in the USA. The New York Times has an interesting recent article about their use and the FCC crackdown. Turns out these devices aren’t illegal to own, just to operate. However, who knows what kind of investigation goes into tracking who visits websites selling the devices. - [via] Link.
